With the approval of Standardization Administration of China and IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission), LNU’s associate research fellow Song Yan has been qualified as an expert of IEC. Song is now serving at the Department of Measurement-Control Technology and Instrument of the school in LNU.

      IEC is subordinate to IEC/SC 65/MT 9, and is the world’s authority of industrial automation and electrotechnics. The organization is responsible for the standard setting in the field of information and automation. Since IEC enjoys a good fame worldwide, it is really a great honor for one to be an expert of IEC, showing that LNU is moving forward in the field of industrial communication and security and getting more influential worldwide.
