The 28th Work Meeting of National Social Sciences Federation for Large and Medium-Sized Cities was held in Liuzhou, Guangxi province. The meeting was attended by more than 600 representatives of social science organizations from over 130 large and medium-sized cities in 25 provinces (municipalities, or autonomous regions). Professor Wang Houshuang from School of Economics has won the title of 2007 China’s Advanced Individual of Social Sciences Work. Professor Wang Houshuang is the only selected social science worker in Shenyang and Liaoning province who has been honored.

      Professor Wang Houshuang, serving for Shenyang governments, has greatly contributed to the development of social science work in Shenyang for a long time.
