Recently, the Ministry of Education released a list of 2020 “New Agricultural Science Research and Reform Practice Project”, with a total of 407 projects granted. The Interdisciplinary Research Based on Food Science and Engineering by Prof. Xue Youlin’s team of LNU was approved.

The approval of the New Agricultural Science Project this time is an affirmation to LNU’s work in scientific research foundation, concepts of innovative development, talent training system construction, management performance, and demonstration of model characteristics, while it puts forward higher requirements for the following work. The college will take it as an opportunity to further improve the interdisciplinary construction system, and continue to improve the ability of cultivating new agricultural talents based on economic and social development and industrial demand.
