On October 16, the "Symposium on the Revitalization Breakthrough of Northeast China and Northeast Asia Development Forum" co-sponsored by the Liaoning Provincial Development and Reform Commission, the Macroeconomic Management Editorial Department of National Development and Reform Commission and Liaoning University, and undertaken by Liaoning University and Zhonghong web, was held in Liaoning University.

General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speeches and instructions on the development of Northeast China, the revitalization and development of Liaoning, and the preparation of the "14th Five-Year Plan" were studied and implemented in the meeting. By closely focusing on the emerging trends, unprecedented challenges and new opportunities, this meeting conducted in-depth exchanges and discussion in the design of major policies and important projects in the Five-Year Plan, the high-quality economic and social development of Liaoning during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and how Liaoning can condense and develop new advantages in the new dual-cycle pattern to achieve new breakthroughs, as well as Liaoning's reform and opening up, industrial development, and promotion of the economic cooperation in Northeast Asian and other aspects. Combining domestic and foreign economic development trends, experts scientifically expounded the proposition of productivity distribution in Liaoning Province, and systematically revealed the strategic value of core cities such as Shenyang and Dalian in the development process of Northeast Asia, which would contribute to solving problems and developing new paths.
