On October 24, the Institute of International Education organized international students to visit Qipan Mountain, which is called Shengjing No.1 Mountain, and carried out mountaineering activities with the theme of "Appreciating beautiful mountains and rivers and experiencing traditional Chinese culture". 

     Qipan Mountain is a 4A scenic spot, commonly known as “Shengjing No.1 Mountain”. The legend goes that Iron Crutch Li and Lv Dongbin in the Eight Immortals found a large flat stone here that looks like a chessboard suitable for playing chess, so the mountain is named as Qipan Mountain. Confronting the narrow and steep stone steps along the mountain road, everyone helped and encouraged each other, and finally climbed the main peak together.

After reaching the top of the mountain, the tutor introduced traditional Chinese festival-Double Ninth Festival, and recorded videos for students, in which students wished their parents and relatives all over the world good health and happy holiday.
