On September 16, Prof. Pan Yishan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of Liaoning University, went to School of Environment to investigate and instruct the work of professional certification of Engineering Education. Planning and Finance Department, Academic Affairs Office, Professional Certification Center, Logistics Office and members of the inspection team of professional certification experts of School of Environment attended the meeting.

Prof. Pan Yishan listened to the work report of professional certification experts entering the university. He pointed that LNU attaches great importance to the certification of environmental engineering, and would continue to strengthen its support. All functional departments should coordinate and cooperate to solve the existing problems and difficulties. He stressed that at present, the certification of environmental engineering specialty had entered the stage of "tackling key problems", and the time is tight and the task is heavy. All the teachers of the school must improve their political positions, enhance their sense of mission and responsibility, and immediately set up a leading group for certification of environmental engineering specialty in the School of Environment. This specific work would be carried out in detail. At the same time, Pan Yishan put forward constructive opinions and suggestions on the cultural construction of the school and the problems to be solved in the work of professional certification experts entering the university.
