On 31 October, 2022 the Undergraduate Military Training Report performance and commendation summary meeting of Liaoning University was held in Puhe Campus Stadium. Zhou Haobo, Secretary of the CPC Committee, Pan Yishan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee, Yu Miaojie, President of the CPC Committee, and Sun Shiguo, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee, attended the meeting. The conference was presided over by Sun Shiguo, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee.

At 10 o’clock in the morning, accompanied by the solemn national anthem, the Chinese five-star red flag was raised under the escort of the flag class of the military training regiment of Liaoning University. As Zhou Haobo issued the password to divide the class according to the plan, the conference officially kicked off. The report content of military training results is mainly march-past, and the neat pace and high-spirited slogans resound through the campus. A hundred-member pacesetter team composed of representatives from all colleges in Chongshan Campus marched forcefully to the rostrum accompanied by the magnificent "Military Songs of the People's Liberation Army of China", with each student phalanx also marching past the viewing platform in turn. The square of the 100-member military boxing team showed the enterprising and enthusiastic spirit of Liaoning University’s freshmen, and won applause from teachers and students.

At the meeting, Pan Yishan announced the list of advanced units and individuals in Liaoning University’s 2022 undergraduate military training. He awarded all instructors the honorary title of Excellent Instructor. He also encouraged students to guard against arrogance and rashness and to create new achievements.

Yu Miaojie summed up the achievements of 2022’s military training in his speech and thanked all departments for their coordination. He also gave special thanks to  retired college instructors for their hard work. Yu Miaojie encouraged students to keep in mind unity and cooperation in their future study and life, to persevere, never give up, and not to be afraid of hardship. He hoped that students will turn the noble moral character and excellent spirit gained from  military training into similar excellence  in their study and school spirit in their four years at Liaoning University, invoking the ideals, “Noble in Morality, Extensive in Learning, Tenacious in Action and Independent in Spirit.” With that in mind, students  should strive to become undergraduates in the new era who take on the roles and responsibilities associated with national rejuvenation.
