On March 19, the closing ceremony of the 13th “Challenge Cup” National University Student Entrepreneurship Competition was held at Beijing Institute of Technology. Liaoning University students won one gold prize, one silver prize and one bronze prize after online and offline reviews and assessments. It is the first gold prize achieved by Liaoning University in the “Challenge Cup” national final.
In this national competition, 1544 projects were selected from more than 330,000 innovation and entrepreneurship projects from 3011 universities. After fierce competition, 463 projects were shortlisted for the final open reply assessment. Liaoning University students’ project “Island Fresh: A New Mode of Island Rural Revitalization” won the gold prize in the “Challenge Cup” national competition, the first gold prize Liaoning University has won in the “Challenge Cup” national competition. The project stood out from 92 excellent projects in the field of rural revitalization and modernization. “Sunflower Town:the Entire Industrial Chain Empowers Centuries-Old Village” won the silver prize, and “Guang Zhong Biz Cloud:Regional Physical Retail Store Transfers Profit to Circulation System” won the bronze prize.
The 13th “Challenge Cup” National University Student Entrepreneurship Competition was co-sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Young League, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, China Association for Science and Technology, All-China Students’ Federation and the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality. Through continuously improving projects by participating in competitions from within the university , through to the provincial competition and to the national competition, Liaoning University has encouraged its youth to put great emphasis on the country’s top priorities, focus on identifying and resolving problems, put what they have learned into practice, and also to have the courage to innovate and dare to rise to challenges. Our contestants fully demonstrated the vigor and vitality of students at Liaoning University. They have given their youthful zeal to promote the three-year action of comprehensive revitalization of Liaoning province, promote the construction of the Chinese path to modernization, and play a vanguard role in the quest for national rejuvenation.
The dreams of youth can only thrive if they experience the baptism of wind and rain. Successful results come from countless days and nights of unremitting effort, from constant self-negations and sometimes having to start all over again, and from continuing to absorb new knowledge. The winning students carried out research based on real Chinese problems. They set a good example for all the students at Liaoning University to be the youth of China in the new era who have ideals, dare to take responsibilities, can endure hardship and are willing to strive.
