According to the requirement of the university CPC Committee, schools and colleges at Liaoning University (LNU) held faculty meetings to deploy work in the new semester. University leaders visited each department, conducted exchanges and listened to work reports of schools and colleges in the first half of the year. They also extended requirements to each school and college in the new semester.
Li Yupeng, Vice President of Liaoning University attended the faculty meetings at the School of Communication, the School of Mathematics and Statistics, the School of Physics, Institution of Higher Education and the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. She stressed that it is important to deliver on the requirement of the meeting of middle-level cadres to finish the annual work targets based on the university’s development goals. She hoped that schools and colleges would take due responsibilities to complete the evaluation of undergraduate teaching.
Zhang Hongxin, Secretary of Commission for Discipline Inspection of Liaoning University attended the faculty meetings at the School of Art and the School of Discipline Inspection and Supervision. He stressed that school and college leaders should hold a problem-oriented approach to figure out any shortcomings and come up with practical measures to improve work efficiency. He also hoped that teachers would bring our their best and make joint efforts to facilitate the high quality development of the schools and colleges.
Shi Baodong, Vice President of Liaoning University attended the faculty meetings at the School of Liberal Arts and the School of Journalism and Communication. He stressed that schools and colleges should follow the development strategies of the university and regulate the development tracks in a scientific manner. With dedicated efforts, schools and colleges would upgrade to a higher level in teaching team building, discipline development and public morality. He also encouraged teachers at the university to work in the same direction with the university to assist the university’s high quality development.
Huo Chunhui, Vice President of Liaoning University attended the faculty meetings at the School of Foreign Studies, Asian-Australian Business College and School of Business. He stressed that schools and colleges should grasp the development opportunities and give full play to the discipline advantages to be made from international exchanges and social services. He also encouraged all teachers to contribute their due efforts in the evaluation of undergraduate teaching and joint programs with foreign universities.
Qiu Huanguang, Vice President of Liaoning University attended the faculty meetings at the School of Life Sciences and the Faculty of History. He stressed that teachers should make new plans and work to promote the development of their schools and colleges. He also hoped that teachers would strengthen moral building and do a good job in teaching, scientific research and social services.
At the faculty meetings, Secretaries of the schools and colleges made reports, Deans of the schools and colleges deployed the work in the new semester and university leaders also planned for each school and college. Members of each school and college attended the meeting.
