At the report meeting, Professor Song Zheng noted that the study of the effects of industrial policies has become a hot topic in current domestic and international economic research, mainly due to the profound changes brought by the rapid development of China's economy from "quantity" to "quality" to the global economic system and the successful experience of China's industrial policy practice. He constructed a two country model based on linear production function and CES utility function, systematically deducing how industrial policies implemented on specific enterprises or groups of enterprises have significant impacts on the global economy through two channels: "commodity prices" and "labor wages". Through a systematic explanation in simple terms, the logical mechanism of the internationalization impact of a country's industrial policy has been clarified, providing a new research perspective for industrial policy evaluation. Finally, the attending teachers and students had in-depth discussions with Professor Song on issues such as micro data acquisition and the impact of market structure types.
After the report, Yu Miaojie presented Professor Song Zheng with an honorary professorship letter, Vice Director Huo Weidong presented a commemorative plate of "Song Zexing Famous Lecture Hall", Vice Director Dong Baomin presented the "Liaoning University Think Tank Report", Vice Dean Zhang Danning wore the school emblem and hat, Vice Dean Zhang Guanghui presented commemorative photos, and representative of the School of Economics, Li Jingwen, presented flowers.
