Zhang Hongsong's report focuses on the competitiveness of industrial chain enterprises and regional economic development. He pointed out that the industrial chain plays a crucial role in promoting enterprise competitiveness and regional economic growth. He analyzed in detail the changes in the international economic environment, especially the impact of the anti globalization trend in recent years. He mentioned that events such as the Sino US trade war and the COVID-19 epidemic had a huge impact on the global industrial chain and supply chain, and emphasized the domestic trend of the industrial chain and the complex competition in the context of globalization. Meanwhile, Associate Professor Zhang Hongsong emphasized the changes in global industrial policies and the impact of geopolitics on industrial chains, pointing out that in the current global economic situation, countries' dependence on industrial chains is constantly deepening, and although trade protectionism is on the rise, the actual degree of trade openness is still relatively high. The competitiveness of a company not only depends on the technology and productivity of a single enterprise, but is also deeply influenced by various factors such as the overall cooperation of the industrial chain, changes in market demand, and the company's own supply chain management. He believes that in the current international situation, enhancing corporate competitiveness not only relies on technological innovation, but also takes into account the stability of the supply chain and changes in the demand market. In order to promote the sustained growth of Chinese enterprises and the stable development of regional economy, policy makers and business leaders should pay attention to these factors and actively respond to the challenges brought by changes in the international trade environment.
