On the eve of the Spring Festival, Pan Yishan, Secretary of the CPC Committee and Yu Miaojie, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and President of Liaoning University (LNU) visited the faculty who stuck to their posts during the holiday and extended their new year wishes at Chongshan Campus and Puhe Campus on Jan 26 and 27. Zhang Hongxin, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee and Qiu Huanguang, Vice President also attended the visit.

On January 27, Pan Yishan visited the dining hall, water and electricity center, Security Office, Youyuan Apartment, the Institute of International Education, University Hospital at Chongshan Campus and checked the operation of facilities and equipment. He listened to the report on water and power supply, safety, management of international students and catering during the holiday. He noted that tasks and projects were finished one by one over the past one year, which could not have been achieved without the hard work from the whole faculty. On behalf of the CPC Committee of the university, he expressed his heartfelt thanks to them. He stressed that during the holiday, all departments should full deliver on the measures on campus safety with strong responsibility to create a safe, warm and amicable holiday atmosphere for teachers and students staying at the university.

On January 26, Yu Miaojie visited the water source station, Security Office, substation and Hanyue Hotel at Puhe Campus. He inquired in detail about university’s heating, equipment maintenance, safety, water and power supply and catering services during the winter vacation and Spring Festival. He had a cordial conversation with the faculty on duty during the holiday and expressed his gratitude to them. He stressed that all departments should apply the message of the meeting on campus safety and take safety as a top priority. By combining the faculty and technologies together, it is important to provide a solid guarantee for teachers and students to spend a safe and happy Spring Festival.
