In order to fully implement the decision-making and deployment of the CPC and the State Council on college-graduate employment, give full play to advantages of universities and enterprises, and deepen the integration between industry and education, the signing ceremony for university-enterprise cooperation between Liaoning University (LNU) and Shenyang Modern Trade Service Association was held at LNU on April 11. Jiang Yi, Vice President of Liaoning Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, Professor Huo Chunhui, a Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of LNU, Bai Bo, Director of the Europe and Africa Department of Liaoning People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and President of Liaoning Sino-Russian Friendship Association, Wu Yu, President of Shenyang Modern Trade Service Association, Li Chunmin, Secretary General of Shenyang Modern Trade Service Association, more than 40 enterprise delegations of the association and representatives of relevant departments of LNU participated in the signing ceremony. The two sides reached a consensus on issues such as deepening the integration between industry and education and promoting the employment of college graduates, signed a cooperation agreement and carried out the awarding of plaques. A total of 77 enterprises signed contracts with the Asia-Australia Business College of LNU this time.
Huo Chunhui pointed out that LNU has always attached great importance to the graduate employment. It regards the initiative of Enterprise Visiting and Job Expansion as an important means for the university to strengthen the connection between schools and enterprises and deepen university-enterprise cooperation, as well as an important measure to improve the quality of talent cultivation and promote the high-quality and full employment of graduates. Currently, the university is deeply implementing the Special Initiative of University Secretaries and Presidents Visiting Enterprises to Promote Employment, implementing the employment work mechanism of university leaders taking charge of colleges. It earnestly promotes and implements the requirement of visiting enterprises and expanding job opportunities, precisely visits relevant enterprises, and improves the utilization rate of job positions and its effectiveness. He expressed the hope that through university-enterprise cooperation, a long-term mechanism for joint cultivation can be established, a more stable relationship can be constructed, and joint efforts can be made to create a three-dimensional learning environment integrating university, enterprise, and society for college students, so as to truly realize the connection among the education chain, talent chain and industrial chain.
Wu Yu stated that this cooperation is an important measure taken by the association to promote the coordinated development of the education chain and the industrial chain. In the future, the two sides will carry out in-depth cooperation in areas such as customized training, internships and practical training, and the transformation of scientific research achievements, providing more practical opportunities and employment positions for LNU graduates. The association will join hands with LNU to promote the high-quality and full employment of graduates, and make a contribute to the revitalization and development of Liaoning.
At the signing ceremony, the two sides signed the University-Enterprise Cooperation Agreement between Liaoning University and Shenyang Modern Trade Service Association, and carried out the awarding of plaques.
After the signing ceremony, representatives from more than 40 enterprises had in-depth exchanges with the faculty members and students of the Asia-Australia Business College. They all stated that they would rely on the university-enterprise cooperation platform to provide more practical opportunities and employment positions for college students, and jointly explore the talent cultivation mode of University-Enterprise-Society. The Asia-Australia Business College organized the participating guests to visit the History Museum of LNU and the Comprehensive Practical Training Teaching Center for Liberal Arts, and further discussed the cooperation details.
The successful holding of this university-enterprise cooperation signing ceremony marks a solid step taken by LNU and Shenyang Modern Trade Service Association in the field of the integration of industry and education.
