On May 15, the “Harnessing AI to Reshape Enterprises -2026 Enterprise Digital Intelligence Innovation Summit (Shenyang Station)”, jointly hosted by Liaoning University (LNU) and Shenyang Yonyou Software Co., Ltd., grandly opened at Wanda Vista Shenyang. Centered on AI technology evolution and enterprise digital intelligence transformation, the summit brought together elite forces from government, academia, and the business community to explore practical pathways for AI-empowered high-quality development of Liaoning’s industries, injecting strong momentum into the construction of “Digital Liaoning, Intelligent Manufacturing Strong Province”.

Distinguished guests attending the summit included Pan Yishan, Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and secretary of Party Committee of LNU; Hu Qiang, Chief Economist of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Liaoning Province; Xu Yang, Senior Vice President of Yonyou Network and President of its Enterprise BG; Han Liangliang, Dean of the Business School of LNU; Zhang Xiaohong, Executive Vice President of the Institute for China Finance Research; Wang Lan, Director of the Liaoning Provincial Key Laboratory of Blockchain and Digital Economy; Zhang Yongfeng, General Manager of the Digital Intelligence Development Department of Ansteel Group Corporation Limited; Song Min, CIO of 700cc; Zhang Ruilin, Senior Pre-sales Consultant for AI at China Unicom Liaoning Branch; and Xiao Jian, Product Manager of the Capital Settlement Department at China Construction Bank Liaoning Branch. Together with nearly 500 enterprise managers and industry experts, they witnessed this intellectual feast of deep integration between AI and industry.

In his speech, Pan Yishan pointed out that a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation is reshaping the global economic landscape. New-generation information technologies represented by artificial intelligence are profoundly changing enterprise business logic and management models, becoming a core driving force for industrial upgrading and high-quality development. As the first specialized business school founded by the Chinese Communist Party and the only provincial-level national “Double First-Class” university in Liaoning, LNU has always upheld the mission of “born for the nation,” rooted in Liaoning and serving the region. With the educational philosophy of “stepping out of campus to find real-world scenarios, entering society to seek real problems, and moving to the forefront to pursue pragmatic innovation”, the university continues to deepen industry-university-research cooperation with local governments and leading enterprises. Co-hosting this summit with Yonyou is an important initiative to help Liaoning enterprises solve transformation challenges, cultivate digital intelligence talent, and promote the translation of scientific and technological achievements. He stated that in the future, LNU will further leverage its disciplinary advantages to provide intellectual support and talent security for Liaoning’s digital intelligence transformation, helping enterprises seize the initiative and gain the upper hand in the new technological revolution.

In his speech, Hu Qiang noted that with the rapid development of AI and the deep integration of the digital economy and real economy, these forces have become core drivers of industrial upgrading and competitive advantage building. Liaoning is advancing the intelligent transformation and digitalization of its manufacturing industry, effectively breaking down data barriers across industrial chains and steadily improving efficiency throughout the entire chain. This year marks the beginning of the “15th Five-Year Plan” period. Liaoning will focus on building its industrial system, deeply implementing “AI plus Manufacturing”, pushing enterprises from basic digitalization to deep intelligence, and accelerating the large-scale application of AI in scenarios such as production control, quality inspection, and supply chain collaboration. He expressed hope that LNU, Yonyou Network, and other parties will deeply empower enterprise transformation, and that entrepreneurs will actively embrace change and seize opportunities. The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Liaoning Province will continue to optimize the business environment, strengthen policy, platform, and resource support, and contribute jointly to the construction of digital Liaoning and intelligent manufacturing strong province.

At the summit, industry experts and enterprise representatives shared in-depth insights on topics such as AI technology application, enterprise transformation pathways, and industrial ecosystem building. In his speech titled “Harnessing AI to Reshape Enterprises”, Xu Yang pointed out that artificial intelligence has entered a new stage of large-scale, commercially viable agent implementation, moving from perceptual intelligence and generative AI to autonomous execution. He deeply analyzed the challenges of large model applications and proposed building a unified business semantic layer driven by ontology to break down data silos and achieve cross-system autonomous operation. Drawing on Yonyou’s practices, he suggested that enterprise AI implementation should follow a progressive path: standardized application, custom orchestration, autonomous scheduling to ontology-based decision-making. He emphasized solidifying data foundations, strengthening security and permission controls, and using "controlled agents" to achieve compliant and efficient transformation, providing clear guidance for enterprise digital intelligence upgrades.

Wang Lan, Zhang Yongfeng, Song Min, Zhang Ruilin, and Xiao Jian delivered keynote speeches titled “From Enhancement to Native: The Strategic Leap Path of Enterprise AI Transformation in the New Era”, “Reflections and Explorations on AI in Steel Enterprises”, “New Consumption, Intelligent Growth: 700cc Partners with Yonyou AI to Drive Full-Chain Digital Upgrade”, “China Unicom AI Product Capabilities Empowering Enterprise Intelligent Upgrades”, and “AI Empowers the Co-Construction of a New Digital Intelligence Financial Ecosystem”, respectively.

During the summit, the “Business Intelligence Industry-Academia-Research Innovation Center” was officially launched. Co-founded by the Business School of LNU, Yonyou Network, Seentao Technology, Ansteel Group, 700cc, and Liaoning Consulting Industry Group, among others, the center closely aligns with Liaoning Province’s “2211” industrial system and the “New Generation Artificial Intelligence Development Plan”. It focuses on deep applications of AI in scenarios such as operations management, business innovation, and industrial upgrading, promoting the integration and innovation of AI with business fields including human resources, finance, supply chain, and strategy. The center aims to build a high-end think tank and practice platform integrating academic research, consulting services, and talent cultivation, providing support for the industrial transformation and upgrading of Liaoning and Northeast China.
