On October 25, the 21st Joint Job Fair of the Northeast Local Universities Employment Cooperation Consortium, alongside the LNU Autumn Campus Recruitment Fair for the Graduates of 2027, was successfully held on the Ginkgo Road at the Chongshan Campus of LNU. Qiu Huanguang, Party Secretary of LNU, and Zhang Hongxin, Deputy Party Secretary of LNU, toured the venue in depth to see firsthand what employers needed and advance the university’s campaign of employer visits to expand job opportunities. They also had warm conversations with graduating students, listening to their career preferences to keep a finger on the pulse of the job market.

The fair brought together 152 quality employers spanning information technology, biomedicine, modern financial services, education and teaching, construction engineering, commerce, culture and tourism, food and light industry, and many other fields. The employer lineup was strong and diverse, bringing together large central state-owned enterprises, industry leaders, quality local companies, and emerging tech innovators. State-owned enterprises made up a large share, ensuring an ample supply of quality, stable positions, while private companies, foreign-invested enterprises, and higher education institutions were also represented. With abundant positions and quality development platforms, the fair was precisely tailored to the university’s strengths as a comprehensive institution, fully meeting the job-seeking needs of students across majors and degree levels.

Through the online and offline channels connected by digital twin technology for the first time, students could browse booth layouts, employer profiles, job requirements, salary and benefits and other key information online in advance. An AI-powered assistant matched students with suitable positions, enabling them to research precisely and prepare with a clear focus, so that they could hold more focused conversations with employers at the venue.

The venue also featured a special employment services zone and an AI-empowered employment experience zone, offering one-stop services such as resume polishing, interview coaching, and employment rights protection to help students clarify their career direction and sharpen their competitiveness in the job market.

The fair ran in a warm and well-organized atmosphere, with active exchanges between universities and employers. Party secretaries and deputy secretaries of all schools and departments, student counselors, and staff from the Office of Admissions and Employment stayed on duty throughout the event. They proactively engaged with participating employers to promote two-way university-employer connections and precise matching between supply and demand. Their efforts also help LNU students find fuller and higher-quality employment, and provide a steady stream of talent for economic and social development and the full revitalization of Northeast China.

A vast world lies ahead, and youth was made for long voyages.
The road ahead opens new horizons, and young ambitions never rest.
May all of you carry your passion forward,
meeting your dream employer halfway beneath the golden ginkgo this autumn,
winning the offer you long for,
setting sail toward your ideals,
and rising steadily along the road of hard work.
