NIU Bin

NIU Bin is a full professor of Electronic Information Science and Technology at Liaoning University, where he directs the Electricity and Electronics Teaching & Experimental Center. Niu received B.S. degree in Radio Electronics from Liaoning University, China in 1984 and the M.S. degree in Computer Technology from Shenyang University of Technology in 1988. In 1984, he joined the Liaoning University. He had been a full Professor since 2004.  In 2006, Niu visited Oxford university as a visiting scholar. His current research interests are embedded systems and image processing. He took charge in over 20 research projects including series of national and provincial key projects and has published more than over 20 papers in the journals and proceedings. He has supervised more than 60 master students.
