LIU Hongsheng

LIU Hongsheng, a professor and Dean of School of Pharmaceutical Science of Liaoning University, got Ph.D in Microbiology and Bioinformatics in 2004 from Gifu University in Japan. Prof. Liu was awarded the Advanced individuals in education and scientific research in Liaoning Province, Outstanding teachers in colleges and universities in Liaoning Province, and Excellent Science Workers in Liaoning Province.

As a project leader, he has presided over the funds of National Nature Science Foundation of China ‘The Role of Interaction Between H5N1 Avian Influenza Virus NS1 Protein and Human NOLC1 Protein in CK2-related Signaling Pathway and Infection Mechanism’ and ‘Study on Humanized Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza Virus cDNA Prediction Probe Library’, and more than 30 other projects.

Major Research Areas:

Microbiology area. Influenza virus NS1 regulatory pathway, Nattokinase molecular modification and green and healthy fish farming.

Biological Health Statistics area. LncRNA-protein interaction prediction, protein-protein interaction, and protein interaction simulation, prediction of drug targets and toxicology.
