Dr. Ma Lin (1970-) graduated from the School of Communication, East China Normal University, and obtained a Doctor of literature. She is a researcher as well as postgraduate supervisor of College of Communication, Liaoning University; a member of the council of China Literature and Art Critics Association; Vice-Chairman of Liaoning Province Literary Theorist Association and Television Artist Association; a candidate of “Thousand Level” of the 5th Liaoning Province “BaiQianWan Talents Program” (Hundred-Thousand-Ten Thousand Talents Program). With years of devotion to the research and comment of literature and film art, Dr Ma Lin has published representative achievements of three scholarly monographs; co-authored eight research monographs; published almost a hundred commentary articles on core journals, key journals, and provincial journals. Her works have been reproduced with full text by Xinhua Digest and Reprinted in Information Center for Social Science of RUC many times. She participated in five projects supported by The National Social Science Fund of China and Ministry of Education of China; independently led seven key projects and general projects of the Liaoning Social Science Fund, and three projects of Liaoning Provincial Federation of Social Science Circles. Her research findings received more than ten awards and honours of national, provincial, and municipal level, including Chinese Literary and Art Criticism Prize, Liaoning Social Science Outstanding Achievement Awards, etc.
