SHI Guiren, male, born in 1962, professor of College of Foreign Studies of Liaoning University, supervisor of graduate students, deputy director of the Research Center for American Literature and Cultural Development of Liaoning University, the first group teacher-training expert of Liaoning University, principle member of the Chinese-Foreign Cultural Exchange Committee of Writers Association of Liaoning Province, communication review expert of the National Social Science Fund Project, communication review expert of master and doctoral thesis of China Academic Degrees and Graduate Education Development Center, peer review expert of Liaoning Province Social Science Planning Fund and senior personnel of Shenyang. He has mainly engaged in English language and literature research and English teaching. He has published more than 40 papers in journals such as Fudan Forum on Foreign Languages and Literature, Social Science Journal, Contemporary Writers Review, China Higher Education Research, China Education Daily, Journal of Northeastern University and Journal of Liaoning University. He has published more than ten monographs and translation works, and presided over more than twenty scientific research projects, including projects of Provincial Social Science Planning Fund Project, projects of Higher Education Scientific Research Project of the Education Department of Liaoning Province, projects of Higher Education Teaching Reform Research Project of the Education Department of Liaoning Province, projects of Provincial Educational Science Project, projects of the Social Science Federation of Liaoning Province. He has won the third prize of the 2011-2012 Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Achievements, the second prize of the Outstanding Achievements of the Third Provincial Philosophy and Social Sciences Academic Annual Meeting, the third prize of the Mid-Term Achievements of “the 12th Five-Year Plan” Provincial Education Science, the second prize of the Provincial Social Science Academic Activity Month “Language Philosophy and Translation Research Forum”.
