WAN Ping

WAN Ping, associate professor and department chair. She received a B.A. in English Literature from Liaoning University in 1986. She has been at Liaoning University since 1988. Ms. Wan's research focuses on pragmatics, and her teaching repertoire includes advanced english, introduction to linguistics, interpreting, pragmatics, etc. Some of Ms. Wan’s selected publications are: “Sons and Lovers” translation, “English” textbook and so on. Ms. Wan has been awarded as “Outstanding undergraduate teacher“ for 3 consecutive years since 2007, and she was a visiting scholar at Bemidji University in the USA from August 2013 to May 2014.
