WANG Yiqi

WANG Yiqi, lecturer, gained her Master’s Degree in Artistic Design in 2014 after having completed Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts in 2011 from the Central Academy of Fine Arts(CAFA).

She is a lecturer at the Department of Artistic Design in the Faculty of Liberal Arts of Liaoning University. Her research interest is History of Artistic Design and Theories of Artistic Design. The courses she is now lecturing are as below:

·   An Introduction to Design 

·   A History of World Graphic Design 

·   A History of China’s Modern Design 

·   Investigation of Design Market and Enterprise

·   An Introduction to Popular Culture Studies

She has undertaken as project assistant of “The Application of Chinese Traditional Cultural Elements in Modern Artistic Design”, a major research project led by the Philosophy and Social Science of the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. She has conducted as a composer of the Archives of “The 20th Century Shanghai’s Centennial Design Intelligent Archives”, which was jointly initiated by the Oral History Center of CAFA and the Faculty of Fine Arts of Shanghai University. She has participated in the compilation of “2007-2012: China Higher Education Artistic Design Territory”, published by Song Ya Feng Press in 2013. She has contributed many of articles and academic papers to a wide-ranging journals for the past a few years. She was also performed as a Chief Designing Strategist at "China Modern Design Exhibition” in 2016, Shenzhen. She was an editorial staff of the Ministry of Education's major Philosophy and Social Science research project, “From Olympic to APEC: The Application of Chinese Traditional Cultural Elements in Modern Artistic Design”, published by China Building Industry Press in 2017.
