The research interests of Associate Professor Sun include English language Teaching Approaches, English Rhetoric and Biblical Literature. She has about 20 research papers published in the academic journals. She co-authored the textbook named Reading English in Newspaper published in 2008.  She is an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher highly trained in a wide array of foreign language teaching methodologies, providing a stimulating and motivating learning environment to the students in her teaching. She is not only imparting the knowledge of language as it applies to a classroom,  but also organizing and guiding the students to learn English language as it applies to practical, real-world settings. She is a collaborative educator with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to cultivate and sustain strong relationships with all the members of school community. She is aware of the latest development in technology-supported instruction and integrating its use into teaching process.
