Zhang Jianqin, born in 1985 in Taiyuan, Shanxi, holds a PhD in Literature. She is a lecturer at the Institute of International Education, Liaoning University. Her main research areas include international Chinese language education, cultural research, cross-cultural communication, teaching methods, etc. She published the monograph The Image of China in American Movies in the First Half of the 20^th Century in Liaoning People’s Publishing House, co-authored and published Research on Consumer Culture and Cultural Creative Industry in China Social Sciences Press, issued over ten academic papers in authoritative academic journals including Social Science Journal and China Radio & TV Academic Journal, hosted one industry university cooperation project of the Ministry of Education, and conducted multiple university level scientific research projects. Besides, she participated in one major project of the National Social Science Fund and multiple provincial level scientific research projects. Moreover, she received the third prize of Liaoning Province Teaching Achievement Award, the Individual Excellence Award and the Group Excellence Award of the first Global Chinese Language Teaching Micro Course Competition.
