ZHANG Xiangyang

    Zhang Xiangyang, born in July 1967, Manchu, is a member of CPC. Holding the professional title of professor, he now serves as the party branch secretary of Liaoning University Sports Faculty Department. Majoring in football, he obtained his bachelor of education and graduated from Shenyang Sport University in 1989. In 2010, he graduated from Beijing Sport University with a master degree in physical education. He is a member of the Physical Education Steering Committee of Colleges in Liaoning Province, a senior domestic visiting scholar of Beijing Sport University and also a national first-grade judge in football. In 1991, he, as the chief coach, led Liaoning University football team to its championship of University Football Association of Liaoning Province.

    He has published two monographs, Newly Edited University Sports Course and Military Curriculum of General Colleges. The paper he has published Analysis of Approaches to Cultivation of College Athletes in Liaoning Province won the second prize at the 20th Track and Field Papers Report held by Federation of University Sports of China. His projects, Study on the Training Theory and Practice Plan of Antagonism Collective Ball Games and Study on the Theory and Method of Special Physical Fitness Training for Professional Football Players won the second prize and the third prize of Science and Technology Award of China Sports Science Society respectively. His another project China National Women’s Football Olympic Science and Technology Comprehensive Public Relations and Science and Technology Services won the third prize of the Contribution Award of the 29th Scientific Research Service and Tackle Key Problem for Olympic Games Project. In addition, he has participated in various research work of projects set by Educational Department of Liaoning Province and Liaoning Federation of Social Science, including the projects Study on the Training Model and Sustainable Development of Professional Athletes in Colleges in Liaoning Province, Construction of the Training System of Professional Athletes of Colleges in Liaoning Province after the Olympic Games, and Study on the Basic Theory of Martial Arts Cultural Sociology.
