Prof. Dr. Yang Song, doctoral supervisor, currently serves as vice president of Liaoning University. She is also a representative of the 13th National People's Congress, a member of the 8th Disciplinary Review Group (law group) of the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council, a member of the Teaching Steering Committee of Higher Institute of the Ministry of Education in law major, a member of the Policy-Making Advisory Committee of the Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, and a legal advisor of Liaoning Provincial People's Government. Also, she serves as the vice president of the International Economic Law Research Association of the China Law Society, the vice president of the Banking Law Research Association of the China Law Society and the director of the Financial Security and Financial Law Professional Committee, and the executive director of the Economic Law Research Association of the China Law Society. 

She has been selected as Distinguished Professor of National Talent Project, Leading Talent of National Talent Project, Cultural Master of Publicity Department of the CPC Central Committee, an expert entitled to the State Council Special Allowance, a jurist in the Fifth National Top Ten Outstanding Young Jurists, a member of Excellent Talents of Ministry of Education in the New Century, one of the first group of Distinguished Professors of Liaoning Province.

 As a chief expert on major research projects of philosophy and social sciences of Ministry of Education, Professor Yang Song hosted over 10 projects of National Social Science Fund, Ministry of Justice, and Ministry of Education. She has published more than 60 academic papers in core journals such as “Social Sciences in China”, “Chinese Journal of Law”, “Law Science”, “China Legal Science” and “Science of Law”. Her academic achievements have won second prize of the Ministry of Education's Humanities and Social Sciences Outstanding Achievement Award, Achievement Award of the Third Liaoning Provincial Philosophy and Social Science Award, third prize of the Eighth Qian Duansheng Law Research Achievement Award, second prize of the Second Fangde Rule of Law Research Award, second prize for outstanding scientific research achievements of Ministry of Justice, China Youth Legal Academic Award, and first prize for outstanding achievements in philosophy and social sciences of Liaoning Province twice, etc.

Professor Yang Song served as the head of the national first-class course "International Economic Law", head of virtual teaching and research section of foreign-related legal talent training of Ministry of Education. More over, she hosted the first batch of new liberal arts research and reform practice projects, and won the special award of Liaoning Provincial postgraduate teaching achievement once, first prize for teaching achievements of provincial colleges and universities twice.
