Professor ZHANG Guangsheng, Ph.D in Management, doctoral supervisor, born in October 1970, currently serves as dean of Business School of Liaoning University. Entitled to the State Council special allowance, he’s been a member of New Century National Talents Project, a member of New Century Excellent Talents Program of the Ministry of Education, a member of Young and Middle-aged Experts with Outstanding Contributions in China. He is also a distinguished professor in Liaoning province, a leading scholar in philosophy and social science of Revitalizing Liaoning Talents Program, and a visiting scholar at University of California.

In addition, Professor ZHANG takes following positions, executive deputy director of the Chinese Institute of Business Administration, vice president of Chinese Society of Agricultural Technology Economics, executive member of Human Resources Development of China, member of Soft Science Committee of Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs. Plus, he is the member of Advisory Committee for Policy Decision of Liaoning Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, member of disciplinary review group of the Academic Degrees Committee of Liaoning province, deputy director of Liaoning Provincial Advisory Committee on Teaching Business Administration. Apart from aforementioned positions, he is also a member of China Industrial Economics academic degree committee, and editorial board member of Journal of Agrotechnical Economics and Enterprise Management.

His teaching and research orientation mainly focuses on human resource management. Up to now, he’s already hosted five projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, and two projects of National Social Science Foundation of China. Professor ZHANG has published over 100 academic papers and eight books. Part of his research output has once been given important written instruction by then Vice Premier WANG Yang. He’s respectively won the third prize of Higher Education Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award of the Ministry of Education (Humanity and Social Science), the first prize of National Business Science and Technology Progress Award, the first prize of Liaoning Province Philosophy and Social Science Achievement Award, the first prize of Liaoning Province Postgraduate Education and Teaching Achievement Award and the second prize in the first National Award for Textbook Development.
