Professor Cui Riming (male) was born in April 1963. He has a Ph.D in Economics and is a doctoral supervisor and professor at the second level. Prof. Cui is currently serving as the deputy director of the Economics Department at Liaoning University. He is also the leading expert of the key project of the National Science Fund and, as a  professor, receives special allowance from the State Council. Prof. Cui is a Liaoning provincial expert of excellence, a “climbing scholar” professor, a special-appointed professor, and a teacher famous among undergraduates.

Some of Prof. Cui’s many roles include: deputy director of the Teaching Steering Committee in Economic and Trade of the Ministry of Education; member of the Postgraduate Teaching Steering Committee in International Business; chief supervisor of the China Association of Higher Education and Advanced Commerce Education; member of the National Think Tank Consultation of Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation; expert in the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade; member of the Liaoning Provincial Teaching Steering Committee in Economic and Trade; member of the Policy Consultation of Liaoning Provincial People’s Government; director of the first batch of national first-class undergraduate majors in international economic and trade; lecturer of the first batch of national first-class undergraduate courses in international trade practice; and the head of the National and Regional Russia and Mongolia Research Center. He has presided over six projects under the National Science Fund and published over a hundred papers and more than 20 monographs in the journals Economic Research, Management World and People’s Daily (Theory Edition). Prof. Cui has written over 30 political suggestions, and some of them have received important written comments from prominent national and provincial leaders.  His research achievements have been rewarded “Outstanding Expert Papers of the Ministry of Education” and “National Business Award of the Ministry of Commerce”, while also  winning the Liaoning Provincial Philosophy and Social Science Awards several times.
