Abstract: The traditional antimicrobial materials and their classification were briefly introduced. Characteristics and advantages of nano antimicrobial materials. The application of nano antimicrobial materials in environmental protection was reviewed, and the application of nano antibacterial materials in air pollution, treatment of organic pollutants and inorganic debris in sewage, radiation protection, and solid waste treatment was emphatically introduced. The development trend of nano-antimicrobial materials was discussed.
