Current situation and future development of Sino-Japanese climate cooperation from the perspective of low carbon

Abstract: In the context of global warming, low-carbon economy has become an important means for countries around the world to seize the commanding heights of new sustainable development and consolidate and enhance national competitiveness. Today, the world has entered the era of developing a low-carbon economy, and the significance of China-Japan climate cooperation is highlighted. Although China and Japan have signed a number of bilateral agreements to promote climate cooperation, Japan has provided China with a number of loans and grants, advanced emission reduction technology, and conducted personnel exchanges and training on climate issues, but there are still some problems in China-Japan climate cooperation. The formulation of a climate cooperation strategy that promotes mutual benefit between China and Japan can bring new opportunities and open up new areas for the economic and trade relations between the two countries.
