Abstract: Marine ecosystem can supply food, regulate environment and provide cultural support for human beings. It is of great significance to study its service value for realizing sustainable development. Based on the core collection database of Web of Science, R language and VOS viewer metrological visualization tool are used to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the research progress of Marine ecosystem service value from 1995 to 2021. The results show that: This field has received a lot of attention worldwide, and the number of publications has increased exponentially since 2008, with the United States taking the absolute lead. Studies have been published in Ecosystem Services, Ecological Economics, the Journal of Environmental Management and Science of the Total High level journals such as Environment. The research mainly focuses on the dynamic changes of Marine ecosystem services under global change, the classification and quantification of Marine ecosystem services value, the assessment and application of Marine ecosystem services value. The research topics are closely related to each other, and after multi-stage development, three main directions of ecosystem services, management and restoration are finally formed. The research status, research hotspot and evolution trend of Marine ecosystem service value were reviewed to provide reference for subsequent research.
