Abstract: In recent years, the continued occurrence of extreme weather caused people’s attention; climate deterioration is a complex global catastrophe, which influenced the survival and development of every country. In order to change deteriorating climate situation and reduce emissions of greenhouse gases, the entire world has carried on the fruitful climate cooperation. The world's largest developing country and developed countries, China and the United States, as the world's biggest greenhouse gas emissions, the effective cooperation are carried on between the two countries, laying the global climate cooperation foundation. Now global warming has become the consensus of mankind, the two countries have also adopted some actions, but also having some differences and obstacles in the concrete ideas and actions of cooperation, effective collaboration and existing barriers will have a profound impact on the development of China-us economic and trade relationships. First of all, this paper makes a point about the importance of climate cooperation through the three theory angles of the national interests, sustainable development and climate cooperation and international trade relationships; in the second place, describing achievements made from climate cooperation between China and the United States in the three levels of government, non-governmental organizations and enterprise's, climate cooperation between China and the United States presents a multi-channel, multi-level and multi-field state; once again, the climate cooperation between China and the United States is not plain sailing, once again, analyzing divergences and cooperation obstacles of the two countries, which concluded that the two countries have the realistic motivation in climate cooperation, including political and economic aspects; Finally, this article’s foothold is to return to climate cooperation patterns between China and the United States make the positive and negative effects on China-us economic and trade relations. The paper’s final purpose is to expect the two countries should make efforts to resolve differences, make due contributions for improving global climate conditions.
