A Brief Analysis of the Influence of Family Capital on Children's Education Acquisition

Abstract: Educational equity and access to education have always been a hot topic in the field of social sciences. In recent years, research on educational attainment has mostly focused on the internal aspects of the education system, while family capital, which has a profound impact on children's educational attainment, is a factor outside the education system that deserves our consideration and research. The article adopts the perspective of family capital to explore the impact of family political capital, economic capital, cultural capital, and social capital on children's education acquisition. Based on this, combined with China's national conditions, relevant countermeasures and suggestions are proposed to improve children's education acquisition.
