Abstract: The inter-generational division caused by different family backgrounds has become a prominent problem in China's transitional society, eroding people's fair access to resources seriously. If this situation is not changed for a long time, it is very detrimental to promote reasonable mobility of social classes as well as the social harmony and stability.
