Abstract: Educational equity is an important component of social equity. People’s degree of education is generally proportional to their profession, income, and social status in the contemporary society. Education directly affects a person's destiny to a certain extent. Educational equity is not only related to the realization of individual values, but also to the expectations and confidence of all members of society for the future, and to the stability and harmony of society. The Central Committee of the Communist Party of China mentioned the promotion of educational equity in the report to the 18th National Congress once again. Therefore, we should improve and perfect the current educational equity system and policies, and do a good job in all aspects in order to promote the development of China's education.
