Abstract: Women's personalized writing in the 1990s is one of the hot topics in Chinese literary circles at the end of the century. Based on the western feminism, this kind of writing challenges the inherent male authority with its unique text, and thus issues the voice of the female self. However, the cultural differences between China and the West, the superficial understanding of Western feminism, and the publication of Western feminism have all caused the predicament of this kind of writing after a short period of prosperity. We reveal this dilemma through the new perspective of women's personalized writing and postmodernism. The purpose of this operation is to establish a real Chinese female literature after the reflection of women's personalized writing.
